Abrasion-Resistant Pipe of ASTM A532/A532M

Abrasion resistant pipe conveying has been widely used in electric power, metallurgy, coal, petroleum, chemical industry. And also it has the wide application in building materials, machinery and also other industries. As a result it is developing rapidly in different application.

Abrasion is a common phenomenon for conveying pipe. Abrasion occurs on surface where two objects are in contact with each other and have relative motion. Similaly pipeline abrasion refers to the phenomenon caused by the detachment or transfer of material surface when pipeline material is impacted by flowing water or small loose particles.

In conclusion it is an important way to reduce abrasion by using ideal high strength, high toughness and high plasticity abrasive resistant pipe.

Abrasion resistant pipes are widely used for conveying of heavily worn mine fillings, concentrate and tailing. It is also very suitable for coal-fired power plants such as powder feeding, slag removal and ash conveying.
