Nickel Base Alloy

Nickel-base alloys are a class of alloys that contain a significant amount of nickel (typically more than 20%). These alloys are known for their excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. They are used in a wide variety of applications, including:

  • The aerospace industry, for parts that need to withstand high temperatures and corrosion, such as turbine blades and exhaust systems.
  • The chemical industry, for piping and vessels that need to resist corrosion from acids and other chemicals.
  • The oil and gas industry, for drilling pipes and valves that need to withstand high temperatures and pressures.
  • The marine industry, for propellers, shafts, and other parts that need to resist corrosion from seawater.
